Bishop Emeritus William G. Curlin passes away

The Most Reverend William G. Curlin, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Charlotte, died on Dec. 23, 2017, at Carolinas Medical Center of cancer. He was 90 years old.

Bishop Curlin was the third Bishop of the Diocese of Charlotte, serving from 1994 until his retirement in 2002.
